Just what I was looking for! Pure aloe vera. I put some in a mist bottle and use it as my light moisturizer & makeup setting spray (I have VERY oily skin) It hydrates perfectly & doesn’t have much of a scent (which I like). Be sure to refrigerate after opening like the bottle says!

All I have to say is that it has saved me. I have an abnormal stomach which cause me to have acid reflux and fullness very uncomfortable, since I started taking lily of the desert aloe juice before bed I feel back to normal no more acid and heartburn and most important no more prescription medication yay! Thank you so much love your product.
Kim McClure –
That’s excellent, Brenda! Thanks for letting us know!

I began using Lily of the Desert Aloe Gel back in the 1980s for healing of skin burns, bites, cuts and more. I bought it at a local Nature Store, now I’m back to buy products online! I recently ordered Aloe juice thinking it was Lily’s, realizing it isn’t and their tinctures and such are NOT all Organic! So here I am, back with Lily of the Desert. Nothing is better, I like having the choice of glass or plastic bottles too!
Kim McClure –
Thanks Dawn! Glad you have loved our products through the years!

I’ve been adding your product to my morning glass of water and I feel so clean and healthy afterward. I was diagnosed Multiple Sclerosis in 2002, and the medication I take via IV is immune suppressing, so I’m constantly looking for natural, organic ways to boost my immune system.
I used to get sick, flu like symptoms, a
few days after the IV infusion, and since I’ve been adding AVJ to my
morning water, I haven’t been getting
sick. Thank you for this! I will forever have your product as a staple in my home. 🙂
Kim McClure –
That’s great to hear! Thanks for sharing Jenny.

My hubby is receiving 20 hits of radiation for prostate cancer, and we thought it would be good to try this inner fillet aloe vera juice. It would be helpful to know if this is the best product for us. Thanks. We were told this is the BEST one, so I’m taking it too.
Kim McClure –
Hi Colleen- Are you guys just trying to keep his immune system healthy? If so, then you should be good with the inner fillet juice.
Jacqui –
Hi, I have been buying your product in 32oz glass bottles for some time now. It is very good and has healed my stomach. Recently i reordered from my supplier and Fed Ex broke all 8 bottles in shipment. Hence 2 weeks later I received replacement in 32oz plastic bottles which I did not want. I prefer the glass. Are you changing over to all plastic bottles now, if not I will contact my supplier to replace with the glass bottles. Thanks for your time.

The PRESERVATIVE Free PRODUCTS Are Still In Glass containers.
Vicki –
We love Lily of the Desert aloe juice and have been using it for more years than I care to think about. It used to come in brown GLASS one gallon bottles and I wish it still did. I try to avoid plastic as much as possible, particularly if it contains anything we ingest, including storage bowls for food and leftovers, cups, baby bottles, etc., because it has been proven to be bad for our health. It is frustrating when our HEALTHY products come in UNHEALTHY plastic, which is why I subtracted a star. Sadly, most do anymore. I do prefer the preservative free aloe, but to get a gallon WITHOUT plastic, I have to buy 4 quarts and it’s a good bit more expensive buying quarts. (I order online, but the preservative free gallon bottles definitely look plastic.)
I’ve also been using the Aloe Vera Jelly for topical use in place of hand and body lotion and it is great. A dab on the ends of my long hair is also nice. My husband uses it on his face every morning.
Kim McClure –
Thanks for your comments and for using our products. We wanted to assure you that our plastic used in all of our products is BPA free. It would be difficult to ship glass gallon containers based on weight. And you are right, our gelly is definitely a multi-use product.
Kevin –
Very good product.
I bought one two months ago and opened it but I forgot to take more.It still good after two months at refrigerator? It will be any risk to my health to take after this long?
Thank you
Kim McClure –
Open the product and check to see if you notice any cloudiness or globs in the juice that could be mold beginning to grow. Our preservative free product lasts about 45 to 60 days after opening.

Is your aloe vera juice from Inner Leaf vs. Whole Leaf?
http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/inner-leaf-vs-whole-leaf-aloe-vera-gel-11206.html
“For any internal use of aloe vera gel, avoid whole leaf versions. The aloe latex in whole leaf gels is likely unsafe for internal use, especially when taken in high amounts, notes MedlinePlus. Using aloe latex internally can cause heart and kidney problems, stomach cramps, muscle weakness and diarrhea. Taking 1 gram of aloe latex each day for multiple days can prove fatal, and it would be hard to tell how much aloe latex is in a particular whole leaf aloe vera gel.”
Kim McClure –
Hi Kian- We actually make both, and the aloe latex in our products has been filtered to less than 1 part per million or .00000001% of the entire bottle. There is a lot of misinformation floating around about aloe products so we conducted a study to confirm that our products are safe to use on a daily basis. You can see more here. http://www.lilyofthedesert.com/about-lily/clinical-studies/proven-science-proven-safe/

Had all upper teeth removed and seven implants placed.
Open mouth breathing exasperated already a nightmare in
my mouth. Dry, cracked and painful.
Aloe H2O Beverage is the only product that has provided
pain-less relief to moisten my mouth.
Went out and bought 10 more bottles today.
Thanks for my smile again!
Kim McClure –
Greg, that is awesome! What an ordeal. So glad our product could help you out.
Angelina –
I love the aloe vera preservative free juice. Could this juice be used on scalp to help with dry flaky scalp?
Kim McClure –
Thanks, Angelina. We would recommend that you first try the juice on a small portion of your skin to check for any possible irritation. Some people can not use the juice on their skin.
Jamie –
Is this product safe for Children?
Kim McClure –
This product is intended for people aged 13 years and older. For anyone younger, you will need to check with a physician first.
Marianna –
Can I use the aloe juice and mix with castor oul for a scalp treatment?
Kim McClure –
I would first do a patch test on your skin to check for any redness or irritation.
Sarah Black –

Shawntae Paige –
Hello i just purchased the aloe juice while leaf. What’s the difference in inner filler and whole leaf?
Shawntae
Kim McClure –
Hi Shawntae- There is not much difference in regards to benefits. Some people prefer the taste of the inner fillet, with it being slightly less bitter.
Wendy –
Hello,
Is this product safe for dogs?
Kim McClure –
We would definitely recommend speaking to your vet before giving your animals our products.
Annie –
In the previous comments I noticed it is recommended to test a bit of aloe vera juice on the skin before using on scalp. If it is safe on my skin, I’m curious if the juice or the gel would be better to use for hair and/or scalp treatments? Through a basic google search I found most people use aloe vera gel to treat curly hair, etc. but on here I found most people only mentioning the juice. Gel would make more sense to me, but curious what your input would be. Thank you!
Kim McClure –
If you think a thicker consistency would work better for your needs then you should go with the gel. The benefits are the same with either the juice or gel.
Mindy –
Is your product decolorized?
Kim McClure –
Yes, all of our products contain less than 1 part per million aloin content.
