ORGANIC CERTIFICATION & IASC CERTIFICATION

For over 30 years…managing purity every step of the way has been our commitment. Being vertically integrated as certified organic growers and processors allows our company to control purity and quality at every step. All Lily of the Desert products originate from mature aloe plants at the company’s fertile plantations in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and in Mexico along the Tropic of Cancer. All plants are grown free of chemicals and fertilizers. These strict standards are certified, monitored, and audited by the Texas Department of Agriculture. All aloe leaves are harvested and refrigerated within four hours to insure that there is no oxidation or decomposition of the naturally occurring active ingredients contained in the aloe vera leaf. Each plant is nourished and developed to produce healthy 1 to 2 lbs. leaves containing a maximum level of total solids (active ingredients). This method of organic farming retains natures purity and insures that all leaves selected for processing are of the highest quality, exceeding industry standards.

Lily of the Desert products are processed in accordance with the USDA National Organic Program. The company’s aloe processing laboratories are located in Mercedes, Texas. They are inspected and monitored by the Texas Department of Agriculture on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the organic producer standards. All aloe leaves selected for processing are refrigerated within four hours of harvest, making sure that each leaf contains the highest level of active ingredients. The leaves are processed by state of the art procedures and techniques that the processed liquid retains all naturally occurring mucoploysaccharides, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other active components that nature created in fresh, unprocessed aloe vera.

All product batches are inspected by quality control to ensure that they meet company standards before being released for distribution. Independent laboratories analyze batches to determine polysaccharide, total solids, soluble solids, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) E Peak, calcium, and magnesium content.

The IASC seal assures consumers that Lily of the Desert products contain 100% pure aloe vera. The company’s commitment to quality by retaining what nature created remains the guiding principle for processing all products for over 35 years running.

The Lily of the Desert aloe vera farms, laboratories, and processing plant are certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture, Oregon Tilth, and One Cert in accordance with the USDA National Organic program.

The Lily of the Desert raw materials and branded products are certified for purity and content by the International Aloe Science Council.
